WhiSPa runs on Signet — a Bitcoin test network that works exactly like the real one, except the coins are free and worth nothing. Same wallet, same Silent Payments, same everything you would do with real money. Get it wrong here instead of there.
Nothing to install. Your keys are generated in the browser and stay encrypted there — the server never holds anything that can spend.
Open the web app →The test build sits happily beside the real one — separate app, separate coins, nothing shared between them.
Get the APK →About five minutes, most of it waiting for a confirmation.
Each device is confirmed by an email link from — check spam. The account gets you in; it is not what holds your coins, and a password alone can never reach them.
Keys are derived on your device — write the twelve words down. On the Android app you can see them again later under Settings → Security, behind your PIN or fingerprint, so a mistyped word is fixable. That only helps while you still have the phone: lose or wipe it with no written copy and the coins are gone.
Take Signet coins from the faucet ↗, then pay your own Silent Payment address and watch a brand-new output appear for it. That is the whole idea, in one transaction.
Everything. The mainnet build is the same wallet against a different chain — nothing about sending, receiving, coin control or backups changes.
Same appSignet keys are Signet keys. Mainnet starts with a fresh wallet and a fresh recovery phrase — back that one up properly, because it is guarding something.
Start againSignet coins cannot be moved to mainnet and are worth nothing. There is no exchange rate and nothing to lose — which is the point of practising here.
Worthless on purpose
